Press &#8220;Set&#8221; and &#8220;Open&#8221; simultaneously to<br \/>\nset the full open position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KC:<\/strong> Used in setting mode. Press this button to Shut the actuator<br \/>\nwhile release it to stop. Press &#8220;Set&#8221; and &#8220;Shut&#8221; simultaneously to<br \/>\nset the full shut position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KS:<\/strong> Used in setting mode. Combination use this button with<br \/>\nothers to configure the parameters.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Switch<\/strong>\n<p><strong>SA<\/strong>: Set operation mode (Default set to 1):<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><strong>1<\/strong>&#8211;Normal Modulation <strong>2<\/strong>&#8211;Setting Mode <strong>3<\/strong>&#8211;Reverse Modulation<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>SB<\/strong>: Set Safety Position (Default set to 1):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>1<\/strong>&#8211;Drive to Fully Open <strong>2<\/strong>&#8211;Keep Position <strong>3<\/strong>&#8211;Drive to Fully<br \/>\nShut<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Indication<\/strong>\n<p><strong>L1<\/strong>: Green, Power Indication\uff1b<\/p>\n<p><strong>L2<\/strong>: Red, Input signal error, turned on when input signal is over<br \/>\nrange\uff1b<\/p>\n<p><strong>L3<\/strong>: Red, Potentiometer error, turned on when potentiometer is<br \/>\nabnormal or connection wire is broken\uff1b<\/p>\n<p><strong>L4<\/strong>: Red, Stuck error, turned on when actuator can not be driven<br \/>\nto open or close.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Switch SA to 2 to enter the setting mode. Then you can set the<br \/>\noperation rotation range, set the safety position, calibrate the input<br \/>\nand output signal and etc.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Operation Range<\/strong>\n<p><strong>Configure Fully Close Position<\/strong>\uff1a<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Press the Open\/Shut button to drive the valve to the fully closed<br \/>\nposition.<\/li>\n<li>Hold the Set button and then the Shut button until L2 is turned on<br \/>\nabout 3-4 seconds later which means the fully closed position<br \/>\nconfiguration is done.<\/li>\n<li>Now you can release these 2 buttons.\n<p><strong>Configure Fully Open Position<\/strong>\uff1a<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><!-- --><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press the Open\/Shut button to drive the valve to the fully open<br \/>\nposition.<\/li>\n<li>Hold the Set button and then the Open button until L2 is turned on<br \/>\nabout 3-4 seconds later which means the fully open position<br \/>\nconfiguration is done.<\/li>\n<li>Now you can release these 2 buttons.\n<p><em>[Note: When the fully open and close position was configured with<br \/>\nthe same position, the configuration will be done successfully. But<br \/>\nthe actuator will not rotate in modulation mode.]{.underline}<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Set Safety Position<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Set the safety position with SB as you wish when supply power was broken<br \/>\ndown or input signal was fault.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Turn S-B to 1 to let the actuator drive the valve to fully open<br \/>\nposition.<\/li>\n<li>Turn S-B to 2 to let the actuator keep the current valve position.<\/li>\n<li>Turn SB to 3 to let the actuator drive the valve to fully close<br \/>\nposition.<\/p>\n<p>This part of configuration is normally unnecessary, reconfigure<br \/>\nthese if it really matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>4-20mA Output Calibration<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Turn S-A to 2<\/li>\n<li>Connect an ammeter to signal output to monitor current.<\/li>\n<li>Hold the set button then open and shut simultaneously until L2 is<br \/>\nturned on which means 4mA calibration mode being entered. Now you<br \/>\ncould release these 3 buttons.<\/li>\n<li>Press Open(increase) or Shut(decrease) to adjust 4mA.<\/li>\n<li>Hold the set button until L2 was turned off and on again, then<br \/>\nrelease the button to enter 20mA calibration.<\/li>\n<li>Press Open(increase) or Shut(decrease) to adjust 20mA.<\/li>\n<li>Hold the set button until L2 was turned off and on again, then<br \/>\nrelease the button to complete the calibration process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>4-20mA Input Calibration<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Turn S-A to 2<\/li>\n<li>Connect a 4-20mA current source to signal input to generate a<br \/>\nreference.<\/li>\n<li>Hold the Set button until L2 start blinking, release Set. Hold Open<br \/>\nand Shut simultaneously until L3 start blinking which indicate<br \/>\ncalibration mode being entered, now release these 2 buttons.<\/li>\n<li>Generate a 4ma reference to Input, Hold the set then shut until L4<br \/>\nis turned on which indicates the current input was calibrated as a<br \/>\n4mA reference. You could release the 2 buttons now.<\/li>\n<li>Generate a 20ma reference to Input, Hold the Set then Shut until L4<br \/>\nis turned on which indicates the current input was calibrated as the<br \/>\n20mA reference. You could release the 2 buttons now.<\/li>\n<li>Hold Set until L3 stop blinking which indicates calibration being<br \/>\ncompleted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Start to Use<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/dclcontrols.com\/dam\/actuator\/fsr\/images\/dcl-actuator-fsr-plug.webp\" width=\"1920\" height=\"2083\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Modulation with 4-20mA<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Turn S-A to 1 to start modulation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The actuator will drive the valve to the specific position as the<br \/>\n4-20mA input signal assigned\u3002<\/li>\n<li>The 4-20mA output signal will output the valve position in real<br \/>\ntime.<\/li>\n<li>The &#8220;ON\/OFF Output Open&#8221; will output a signal(connect to COM) when<br \/>\nthe valve was driven to the full open position.<\/li>\n<li>The &#8220;ON\/OFF Output Shut&#8221; will output a signal(connect to COM) when<br \/>\nthe valve was driven to the full close position.<\/li>\n<li>The actuator will drive the valve to the safety position when supply<br \/>\npower was broken down or input signal was fault.<\/li>\n<li>The actuator will return to modulation mode after supply power and<br \/>\ninput signal was recovered.<\/p>\n<p><em>[Note: You can turn S-A to 3 to activate the reverse operation. In<br \/>\nwhich, 4mA input value will be transferred as 20mA, and 20mA will be<br \/>\ntransferred as 4mA.
