Controlling DCL Electric Actuator via Modbus-TCP\/IP Using Default Parameters<\/strong><\/h2><p>The DC-FB3 is pre-configured in Client mode. Using the default MAC, IP, Gateway, Server, and Port parameters, you can control the DCL electric actuator via Modbus-TCP\/IP. The default parameters are indicated within the blue box in the image below.<\/p><p>When using the default parameters, you can skip step 2 and proceed directly to step 3, using Modbus-TCP\/IP to control the DCL electric actuator.<\/p><figure style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"\/dam\/um\/images\/dcl-actuator-with-dc-fb3-flag-scaled.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"627\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">DCL Modbus TCP\/IP Actuator<\/figcaption><\/figure><h2><strong>2. Changing TCP\/IP Network Parameters<\/strong><\/h2><h3><strong>2.1 Connect DC-FB3 to PC Using DC-FB1 (USB to RS485)<\/strong><\/h3><figure style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"\/dam\/um\/images\/\/connect-dc-fb3-to-pc.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"374\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Connecting DCL Actuator with Modbus TCP\/IP to Computer<\/figcaption><\/figure><p>The wiring for connecting the DC-FB3 is as follows:<\/p><ul><li><p><strong>Red Box 1<\/strong>: Connect to AC220V power supply.<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Green Box 4<\/strong>: Connect to the RS485 interface (A\/B) of DC-FB1.<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>DC-FB1 USB<\/strong>: Plug into the PC.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>For further details, refer to the DC-FB1 user manual.<\/p><h5>\u00a0<\/h5><h3><strong>2.2 Use Configuration Software on PC to Set Network Parameters<\/strong><\/h3><p><strong>Download Configuration Software<\/strong>: Install the necessary configuration software for setting the network parameters.<\/p><p><strong>Select Correct Port<\/strong>: Open the configuration software, choose the correct port, and click <strong>CONNECT<\/strong> to connect to DC-FB3.<\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"\/dam\/um\/images\/\/dc-fb3-config3.webp\" width=\"681\" height=\"473\" \/><\/p><p>Once connected, the configuration software will automatically read the parameters from the DC-FB3.<\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"\/dam\/um\/images\/\/dc-fb3-config2.webp\" width=\"676\" height=\"467\" \/><\/p><p><strong>Change Network Parameters<\/strong>: After modifying the network parameters, click <strong>SAVE<\/strong> to store the updated parameters in the DC-FB3.<\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"\/dam\/um\/images\/\/dc-fb3-config1.webp\" width=\"677\" height=\"472\" \/><\/p><h2><strong>3.
