Using Relay/PLC/DCS to Control DCL Actuators

Using a Relay to Control DCL ON-OFF Type Actuator (AC220V)

  • When the L line is switched via a relay to the “OFF” input terminal, the actuator drives the valve closed. Once fully closed, the actuator stops, and the electric valve remains closed.

  • When the L line is switched via a relay to the “ON” input terminal, the actuator drives the valve open. Once fully open, the actuator stops, and the electric valve remains open.

  • If power to the AC220V L line is lost during operation, the actuator stops driving, and the electric valve stays in its current position.

  • If your actuator is equipped with a heater and dehumidifier, keep the AC220V L line powered after reaching the fully open or fully closed position.
